Little Trouble Girls

Iko Chérie is the moniker of French multi-instrumentalist and selector Marie Merlet who exclusively plays records involving women. Her eclectic but carefully curated sets reflect her broad musical taste and cross genre boundaries, digging into laid-back disco, experimental gems, psychedelic grooves, leftfield pop and underground indie from around the world.

Iko Chérie has a monthly residency at Spiritland and performs in several bands, including her own girl group. Tune into Little Trouble Girls for a celebration of women in music, including album reviews, gigs and interviews with guests sharing tracks by their favourite female artists.
