Profile
Philip Baldwin
A human rights activist and writer, Philip is best known for his campaigning around HIV, LGBTQ issues, homelessness, asylum and faith inclusion. Philip writes for many different publications, including a regular column in Gay Times. He is involved with a number of charities, including the Ozanne Foundation (where he is a trustee). As someone who was bullied at school for being gay and who is also a passionate Christian, Philip enjoys visiting schools as a Stonewall Role Model to speak about coming out and faith.
Philip was diagnosed with HIV in 2010. This taught him what it feels like to be an outsider. He is proud to have a diverse range of guests on his radio shows. These take place quarterly to coincide with LGBT+ History Month (February), Pride Month (June), National Coming Out Day (11 October) and World AIDS Day (1 December).
