A New Yorker for over 16 years, Kate has performed, recorded and collaborated with dozens of artists, including Blitz the Ambassador, Durand Jones & The Indications, Elysian Fields, Chicano Batman, Lady Wray, Chances With Wolves and Lee Fields, in addition to writing and performing as 79.5. In 2019, her song “Terrorize My Heart” was nominated as Track of the Year at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards.
Kate lives in NYC, has a slobbery yet lovable dog named Columbo, aka “Bobo”, and supports and encourages womxn to take up all the space in the world.
