James Heather interviews Kenyan born KMRU about the tracks that have signposted his life and brought tears to his eyes, as well as some insights into his own. KMRU talks about his albums Epoch & Peel, upcoming album with Kevin Richard Martin (The Bug) and his lesser known early days in bands. We talk about record length stints working on Ableton, archiving the music of his late Grandad and recording what is usually unheard. KMRU is a lovely, softly spoken artist who is one of the most interesting creatives of our times operating in areas of sound design, electronic production and field recording.
