Composer Brian Irvine’s work first came to my attention with the brilliant series The Woman in the Wall – his latest co-composing project with David Holmes. It turns out that film scoring is part of an impressive body of work that includes opera, street art, performance , animation and theatre , much of which is produced through Dumbworld, the company he co founded with John McIllduff. Brian’s selections include music by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Penderecki and his own cues from The Woman in the Wall and the upcoming The Flats. Join us on Composers on Film!
