Shunya

Shunya aka Alan Keary is an Irish producer and multi instrumentalist based in Manchester. His musical journey has been somewhat varied so far. Heʼs collaborated with DJ Yoda, arranged music for the BBC Proms, released a remix on Blue Note Records and currently tours with Chesaba – a collective blending improvisations with music from across Africa.

His Soho show aims to focus on variety and blend together a collection of music from the people and places that inspires him. Expect music from west Africa, Irish trad, spiritual jazz, Dub, electronic, Jungle, throat singing field recordings and wonky ankle pop-step.
