Natalie Elizabeth Weiss brings you electronic, multicultural, experimental, and contemporary classical music as well as Latin beats and vintage gems on her monthly show.Natalie is a DJ, composer and educator whose music career has involved everything from orchestral commissions to underground all-nighters. TimeOut NY calls her original music “danceable music that people want to hear” and New York Magazine featured her in their annual “Reasons to Love New York” issue. As a DJ, Natalie has played sets around the globe, sharing bills with members of LCD Soundsystem, The Flaming Lips, Questlove and Milky Chance, and has been featured on The Lot Radio, ARD German Radio, Radio France International, BBC Radio and NPR. Clients include Scarlett Johansson, Claire Danes, Stella McCartney, Ellen Degeneres and The New York Rangers. As a composer, Natalie is best known for her Off-Broadway musical Camp Wanatachi, which is a collaboration with electronic musician Machinedrum and Bekah Brunstetter, who is writer/producer of NBC’s hit show This Is Us. As an educator, Natalie is known for founding Baby DJ School, a research-based music program that teaches babies how to DJ in order to accelerate their cognitive development. The subject of a VICE documentary and featured on Good Morning America, Baby DJ School has branches in NYC and LA.
