SOHO MUSIC MONTH
Soho Music Month – July 2021
Carnaby and Soho unite with a free month-long celebration throughout July. A series of activations will include talks, exhibitions, music history tours and a one day record market on 18th July with Independent Label Market who will curate an incredible line-up of emerging record labels.
For one day only, independent record labels will take over Carnaby Street with a special selection of vinyl stalls from independent and emerging record labels. You can also catch Soho Radio there, broadcasting live and direct from the market 12 – 6pm BST on the NYC + Culture channel.
12 – 2pm: Miles Away Records with Dom Ore // 2 – 4pm: Simone Marie // 4 – 6pm: DJ Kobayashi.

What’s on in store: A diverse lineup of exclusive activations, promotions, collections, new cocktails and dishes will feature in-stores and restaurants. Some dates to save in your diary include 7 July – head to GANNI on Beak Street to enjoy drinks in-store as well as the launch of their new collection. On 9 July the Rolling Stones global flagship store, RS No.9 Carnaby will launch a limited edition vinyl, A Bigger Bang: Live On Copacabana Beach.
Celebrate Bastille Day at Cahoots on 14 July and enjoy live music from Gypsy Dynamite as well as cocktails dedicated to the day. Cass Art will announce the winner of their window illustration competition on 15 July, so be sure to enter before then. Stop by the Newburgh Quarter on 23 July to take a look at MÜHLE’s London Taxi wrapped with their newest addition to their collection; The Companion razor.
Song competition: Lyrics have been written as a homage to Carnaby and members of the public, amateur or professional, are invited to create a song using these lyrics. The winning prize includes a day in the studio to record and mix this song and a track of their own choice, with the winning song being released this Winter. The winner will be chosen by an exciting panel of judges including Suggs, BBC Radio 1’s Scott Mills, co-founder of Soho Music Month Vincent Olutayo, producer and founder of Mcasso Music Mike Connaris, and more.
