Having discovered that the young Frank Zappa listened to an ethno-musicological collection by Deben Batthacharya (Music on the Desert Road) “many times”, Ben argues it casts new light on the music produced by his band AMM All-Stars, so we hear tracks from the album alongside xenochronic mixes of playing by Andrew King (guitar, keyboards) and Peter Baxter (drums), plus tracks by Scientist and Harry J. All-Stars.
