On this months edition of Moving Sounds James Heather interviews the composer and Pianist Rachel Grimes. Rachel really forged a path for modern classical musicians operating in the indie space when she came up in the 1990’s, and was one of the biggest inspiration on James deciding to eventually release and perform music. In one of the best Moving Sounds interviews to date Rachel talks about a near 30 year career in music and all the ups and downs that has entailed, giving real insight into the act or pure creativity. There were lots of laughs but also moments of deep reflection in this chat, as Rachel chose many pieces of music that has signposted her life and why.
