From across the Atlantic, we speak with director Jason Axel Summers about the upcoming release of his film, ‘I Should Have Been Dead Years Ago: Stuart Gray’. Based in North Carolina, Jason’s career has seen him involved in a plethora of projects, from the punk rock music scene, directing music videos for the likes of the Archers of Loaf and The Squirrel Nut Zippers, to New York, where he focused on documentaries and feature films. We speak with Jason about his passion for sharing outsider stories and his range of work, including his latest music documentary exploring the life and music of Stuart Gray (Stu Spasm), creator of Australia’s noise-rock band, Lubricated Goat.
