Cal Jader drops another show traversing the spectrum of music from Latin America and beyond – this month with forays into the Ecuadorian Andes with a track from the amazing new album from Humazapas and contemporary Ecuadorian sounds with new music from Joaquin Cornejo and Kaifo plus brand new music from El Búho, Killabeatmaker, Novalima, Ana Tijoux and Nickodemus featuring the Candela All Stars as well as two new tracks featuring Pahua – one with Montoya and the other with Scottish producer Vardi. Plus Cal speaks with Valentina and Elisabeth – producers of ‘My Uncle is Not Pablo Escobar’ and the Latin X Brixton Festival about their cultural work and activism.
