B-Side Sessions with DJ Kobayashi (07/03/2024)
DJ Kobayashi digs for music around the world, you could say it’s his full-time job. Anything that has a groove and the right melodies makes him pick the records for his vast collection. He specialises in Global Funk, Middle Eastern Grooves and World Beats, but he does also embrace electronic beats, “for me, things get really interesting when producers/DJs mix old sounds with new beats.”
B-Side Sessions represents the more unique tunes that are usually hidden on the “B-Side”. It also represents DJ Kobayashi’s thoughts on Middle Eastern music and Global Funk – there are also many gems hidden away there.
DJ Kobayashi is also co-founder of Batov Records.
