Paul Sandell is back to present the latest in Library Music as well as looking at music across TV, film and radio. Award winning composer Nainita Desai guests to talk through her diverse career from working with Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studio to scoring Blue Lights Polices reality TV. Nainita has made a real mark in soundtracking documentaries over recent years from For Same to The Reason I Jump to the Netflix hot 14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible – she talks through all those projects and how her experience in composing has led to a marriage of music and sound design. We also take listen through some of the pieces of TV and film music that had an impact on her with Knight Rider, the Ennio Morricone spaghetti westerns and adverts for Scotch video tape and Smash Mash potato all being mentioned. There’s also time to talk about her compositions for library music too with her diving into the world of Jewish Klezmer music.
