Our presenter, is screenwriter sand journalist, Jingan Young whose monograph ‘Soho on Film is published soon by Berghahan books and whose article, SOHO STRIPTEASE CLUBS, SEXPLOITATION AND THE BRITISH B FILM IS IN THE November issue of ‘Sight and Sound magazine.
Our guest is Director, Edgar Wright talking about his new film ‘Last Night in Soho’.
Ahead of the forthcoming release on October 29th of the psychological horror film ‘Last Night in Soho’ Dr. Jingan Young caught up with its director, to ask him amongst other things what inspired him to choose Soho as his canvas.
Throughout the show as well as talking to director, Edgar Wright, we’ll be playing songs from the movie and some of the 1960’s tunes that inspired him whilst making the film.
