This week El Sull’s guest is the groovy jazz chanteuse Rachel D’Arcy who sings a few songs a cappella and talks about her residency at Gerry’s on Dean St, Soho every Thursday, and the London jazz scene . Music features Eartha Kit, Ella Fitzgerald, Gato Barbieri, a big Philadelphia section from Vince Montana, MFSB, First Choice, O’Jays, Linda Clifford, Jean Carne including a few recent remixes by Tom Moulton and Joe Negro etc. As well as a bunch of new Afro Jazz plus a few classics.
