May’s mix is anchored around extended burners from Phew, Soft Machine, and Robert Truman. There’s some rhythmic workouts from “left field tribalist” Don’t DJ, as well as actual Basoga tribe members Nakibembe Ember Group. I was happy to find some great music from old Portland friends, some of whom I got to see perform this week (Helen!). Puzzle Punks perfectly provided some puzzling punctuation. Oh, and I remembered that Vincent Gallo exists and 20 years ago I bought both of his cds.
