This month we’ve got another double-bill of great guests

First up we’re joined by John Gürtler to talk about his soundtrack that he composed with Jan Miserre for Nora Fingscheidt’s great new drama The Outrun starring Saoirse Ronan. (adapted from Amy Liprot’s acclaimed book)

THEN we’re joined by Hildur Guðnadóttir to talk about her great score to the new film Joker: Folie à Deux. The film has proved divisive but having seen it (after chatting to Hildur) I can definitely recommend it and it’s also worth seeing for the brilliance and power of Hildur’s score.

We also have something spooky for the pending Halloween season with Colin Stetson’s score to the new Netflix adaptation of Junji Ito’s manga Uzumaki. AND to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Alexander Payne’s Sideways we revisit Rolfe Kent’s score.
