SCENE/SOUNDS is back to focus on the music of the big and small screens – from scores to sound design, from Library music to Foley artists, from theme tunes to adverts. This month we’ve got another double-bill of great guests.

First we’re joined by the fantastic Natalie Holt to talk about the March 2025 London Soundtrack Festival. We also find time to talk about the music Natalie has composed for Film and TV such as Loki, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Three Girls, and more.

THEN we’re joined by Jonathan Sadoff to talk bout his great score to the new HBO show Chimp Crazy. It’s a bonkers documentary series from the makers of Tiger King. We talk over how Jonathan created the sounds for the show and made sure that the music wasn’t guiding the audiences emotions too much. In the show there’s a lot of ambiguity in what’s funny, what’s tragic and why people make certain choices and the music has to reflect that – avoiding pointing the finger or suggesting laughs.
