There’re a few old gems and a doff of the cap to the legend that was Andy Bey. A man Ross interviewed way back when his version of Nick Drake’s ‘River Man’ originally came out. He had an amazing voice, a beautiful persona and vocalled some amazing music.
Ross Allen is also joined by a true pioneer of UK Black Music. A man Ross signed to Island many years ago who has contnued to carve his own path through this world of music by pushing sounds and beats into the future all the while whilst lacing the music with his sweet voice and great songs. He is back with an amazing EP of collaborations on his own label SPA… Steve Spacek joins Ross to talk about the EP, what he is up to and what makes him tick!
