On this month’s edition of Moving Sounds, James Heather takes a break from the interviews and does his first mix for a good few years. We may be 8 days into 2025, but there was just so much good music in 2024 that a mix of those selections seemed apt! Music includes Paradise Cinema, Sofi Paez, the brilliant Lebanese duo Snakeskin, Actress, a Recorder Ensemble, a soundtrack from Nico Muhly, Nailah Hunter, field recordings from Patricia Wolf, a nod to the stunning returns by The Cure and Beth Gibbons and the final song Ryuichi Sakamoto put to record.
