Carlos Niño about the music that has been most meaningful to him in his life and insights into a few of his own. Along the way they talk about his new album with André 3000 and how it was such a courageous, artistic statement, how watching the Elephant Man film as a kid was an early influence on his music taste, breakthroughs in the creative journey on stage and the importance of evolving spiritual practice to be authentic and to be totally yourself. They also cover unexpected influences such as Sonic Youth, The Clash and Black Sabbath in his early days, an addiction to collecting cassette tapes and reacting to any kind of music or vibration as a toddler as well as how Miles Davis and Chopin changed his life.
