Our mix this Thursday is another gem from the good people at @radioisaforeigncountry – called Music Of The Psychedelic Military State this mixtape features (mostly) Sundanese psychedelic pop music recorded during the 1970s when the Suharto military dictatorship ruled Indonesia. These recordings were chosen due to their signature sound in which haunting and darkly psychedelic notes mingle strangely with endearing girl pop vibes to create an unusual, intense and suspenseful atmosphere.
