Join Award winning Nigerian born broadcaster and writer Ayo Akinwolere for JUJU Music. Beats Inspired from the golden era of Highlife and AfroBeat in Nigeria and Ghana through the 60’s and 70’s. Nigerian born Ayo was surrounded by the sounds of JUJU and Afrobeat as a child which has led to a collection of delights both digitally and on vinyl. Expect music from across the world and the African continent. With tastes of Jazz, Funk, Afro Beat HighLife, JUJU some heavy bass and everything in-between.

JUJU Music started as a club night in the small seaside town of Margate in Kent, as a way to bring locals together. Ayo wanted to create a night reminiscent of the disco’s his parents who grew ups in post colonial Nigeria used to speak about. It has now become an institution in the small town bringing in Londoners and music lovers from across the country. It then developed into a radio show on Independent radio station, Radio Margate. JUJU now has a home in the in the beating heart of London, Soho Radio.
