Toya Delazy is in studio chatting about her new EP Sheesh as well as her upcoming Baile LDN performance on 15th April. Toya is a singer, producer, pianist and performer from KwaZulu-Natal whose work is infused with gqom, techno, bass, amapiano and more in a unique style she calls AfroRave. She’s collaborated with the likes of LR Groove, Scratcha DVA, KG and many more.
In the second hour is a very special takeover from Emily’s Baile LDN co-founder Mango Park. A DJ, journalist and promoter, Mango Park’s sets combine baile funk, gqom, afrohouse and amapiano with uk funky, grime, jungle and other club sounds. He’s also coming fresh from playing in Brazil so expect a set heavy on submundo and 170bpm funk carioca bangers.
