Cool Thing is an eclectic DIY record label based in Southend-on-Sea in Essex.

The label was formed in 2014 by the members of the British cult band ‘Asylums’ and is now home to a roster of 10 acts including the critically acclaimed Indian Queens and Becky Margaret.
‘Cool Thing Presents’ is hosted by label founders Luke Branch and Michael Webster along with their team Jazz Miell and Hayley Hill.

Every other week on ‘Cool Thing Presents’ Luke and Michael interview a different guest currently working in the creative arts and discuss their process, routes into work, the industry, and fantastic stories.
Discussions will be complimented by a selection of new and old tracks hand picked by the label and their guests.

The purpose of ‘Cool Thing Presents’ is to inspire the next generation of creatives.
