Bootlickers with Kaputt (18/05/2021)

Round II of Bootlickers – a Never Known Project brought to you by Underground England – will be enrapturing your ears from 2-4pm on Soho Radio’s Culture Chanel on Tuesday the 18th of May. Traversing the musical underground with a smattering of post-punk, Dub & Northern Soul with plenty of new tracks from the likes of Roxy Girls, Squid, Piglet & MEAT, and some archive songs from Gang of Four, Brian Eno the late and great Anita Lane. Our second bootlicking guests are Glasgow-based experimental sextet Kaputt, who’ve recently released a phenomenal EP ‘Movement Now/Another War Talk’. Join host Sophie Thompson as she chats to Cal and Tobias about outsider art, their plans for a second album and their eclectic bootlicking playlist.
