A Record of Living Beings w/ Floating World Pictures (26/12/2020)

Chestnutt & Raimund are ‘Floating World Pictures’, a production partnership based at Total Refreshment Centre. On Boxing Day at the end of a turbulent 2020, they present a solstice ritual offering, marking the symbolic death and rebirth of the sun, using processed field recordings from travels and deep melodies to create a free-flowing electronic, ethnographic, lo-fi psychedelic and ambient soundtrack.

AROLB explores the idea of perceived reality expressed through live and incidental recordings, lyrical narrative, sound art, speech, and contrasts in sound.
