A Record Of Living Beings (05/09/2020)

Featuring Chestnutt from Snapped Ankles, Raimund Wong’s ‘A Record of Living Beings’ continues with another collaborative show, weaving field recordings from travels and processed live bootlegs into a free-flowing electronic, ethnographic, lo-fi psychedelic and ambient soundtrack.

This particular show features a heavily-dubbed musique concrète piece made from found cassettes of nursery rhymes & bollywood soundtrack, a manipulated Alabaster DePlume live bootleg, and recordings made by Chestnutt at the medieval fortress town of Dubrovnik and the Croatian islands of Hvar and Korchula.

Chestnutt & Raimund are ‘Floating World Pictures’, a production partnership based at Total Refreshment Centre.
