Marney is a singer and songwriter based in London with a new EP being released at the end of 2019.

With her first release having been a collection of critically acclaimed reimaginings of The Carter Family’s work, growing up listening to Country music and having spent time over the past 4 years writing in Nashville for herself and others, Marney brings a collection of the best of Country to Soho Radio.

Playing records from the 1930s right up to contemporary releases, Marney showcases the very best of what’s coming out of Nashville and its surrounding communities, sometimes leaning over to that which touches Country on the music map, even if it isn’t quite country itself.

Mainstream or left field, nothing is discriminated against here, great songwriting, great performances and great stories are the only tenets on this show.

With a little guidance from herself and the occasional guest, Marney hopes to expand the horizons of either Country novices or committed fans.
