As part of Label Lodge 2020 – a collab with AIM, Jägemeister, and Soho Radio, where we celebrate a different record label each week at #JagerSoho.

Heavenly Recordings staff and label artists took to the airwaves from 28th September, for a week of radio shows.

Heavenly Recordings broadcasted a series of 2-hour shows on Soho Radio in celebration of their thirtieth decade in the biz. Label personnel and Heavenly signings alike took to the airwaves, delving into the past, present and future of the label as it reaches a landmark birthday.

On Monday 28th September, next gen Heavenly heads Daisy Goodwin and Katherine Cantwell selected their favourite tracks from the label’s catalogue, and played guest mixes from Mattiel Brown & Jonah Swilley of the Atlanta-based Mattiel.

Tuesday 29th, Heavenly founder Jeff Barrett and longtime overseer of smooth operations Danny Mitchell played tracks from across the label’s huge and varied 30-year output.

Thursday 1st October, Daisy and Jeff joined forces to present Heavenly Recordings NOW! — a look into the bands picking up the Heavenly baton, with special guest and rising star Syd Minsky of Working Men’s Club.

And on Friday 2nd October, came Trouble of the World, marking the Heavenly release of a brand new single from Sinéad O’ Connor. The show featured an exclusive 90-minute mix by Sinéad and David Holmes (of Unloved).
